The seafood has reached 61.72 million ton in 2013 and the production of seafood has been ranking the No.1 for 24 years in the world, the exports of aquatic products has been continuously for 13 years in China’s agricultural exports and for 11years in the global seafood export. China has become the country with the largest seafood consumption.
Guangdong province is the largest production and consumption of aquatic products in China, merely 2013 it reached 8.1537million ton, aquatic products consumption of 7.8 million tons. There are a large deal of famous production base of aquatic products and intensive export base, the world’s aquatic products processing and trade center. Guangdong is the most developed area with boom economy in China, the average seafood consumption is ranked and the seafood demand and consumption are growing swiftly.
